I have personally watched Sara and Ann take an empty medical facility without equipment, medical staff, personnel, policies, procedures, EMR, vendor and insurance contracts or human resources, and create a fully functioning ambulatory surgery center with attached clinic that passed the AAAHC with deemed status survey with flying colors. The build out was done in record time at the height of the COVID epidemic.
During this process, they vetted various contractors and suppliers of service and equipment, provided the medical input for a major construction project to alter the space that was needed for updated sterilization equipment, vetted and procured all of the business insurance (med mal, liability, cyber, D/O etc), all while writing/implementing all of the policies and procedures. They also vetted and hired all of the medical staff for the facility, while acting as the medical staff for both areas (clinic and ASC), conducting visits and performing all ASC functions to get cases completed. The surveyors from AAAHC were so impressed with their competence and knowledge, that they offered them a job before leaving.
I have known Sara for over 12 years and she is a highly functioning medical professional with the ability to multitask with a vast knowledge base and with valuable connections throughout the medical clinic and ASC space. She is clearly at the top of her field.
