Ann Cook, RN CASC, Co-owner

Ann Cook, BHA RN CASC graduated with her nursing degree from Cincinnati State College in 2007. In 2023, she also attained a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration. Throughout Ann’s 17-year career in ASC operations and leadership, she has performed in a multitude of essential ASC roles such as ASC Executive Director with oversight and leadership of a multi-site enterprise, Director of Nursing/Administrator, Assistant Director of Nursing, O.R. Charge Nurse, Infection Control, Risk Management, and Quality Improvement. Ann holds certification as a Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC) and currently serves as an Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA) mentor for the ASCA Administrator Program, which helps develop new and emerging ASC leaders. Ann is committed to maintaining superior standards in care, practice improvement, change management, and leadership development. Throughout Ann’s experience in the medical field, she has accumulated a diverse array of knowledge, inspiring her to utilize this to help aspiring ambulatory centers and similar clinics.

Sara McLear, APRN-C, LSSGB, Co-owner

Sara McLear is a certified advanced practice registered nurse who earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Tampa in 2007. She also holds a certification as a Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB). She has been a nurse for over 26 years and has been in ASC and Clinical Operations for the last 16 years. With a very diverse background, she has held numerous positions including Vice President of Medical and Nursing Operations in a large Orthopedic and Spine start-up, Vice President of Medical Operations overseeing 7 ASC’s and Clinic’s across the nation, Director of Nursing, Adult Nurse Practitioner, Cardiac Cath Lab Manager, and as an RN in multiple positions – Circulator, Scrub, Open Heart, Pre-Op, PACU, and Orthopedics.

As a consultant Sara offers a wealth of knowledge in the ambulatory care space from start-up ASCs and Clinics, survey readiness, risk management, best practices in nursing and medicine, to training the next generation of nurses and optimizing efficiency in all clinical spaces.
